Skiing with Children

Skiing with children can often present challenges for parents wanting to have a holiday

Choosing the right resort, with facilities readily available to occupy little ones, and the right chalet company, who provide a welcoming and homely environment for both parents and children to have a great holiday, can be tricky. Here are our tips:

Choose a resort where there are lots of activities besides skiing.

Meribel offers:

Ice Skating

And lots more…

For kindergarten aged children there are lots of fun and interactive attractions set up on the piste for children to enjoy.

Debut_piste_inuitOn the Altiport Piste there is the Inuit Village, a fun and safe area especially for children, with whoops, banked turns and slalom, as well as an interactive area with Inuit huts. A great place for children to play.

For children who are already skiing there are fun places within the 3 vallees to explore!

The Indians piste on the way in to IMG_8372Courchevel 1650 is a brilliant place to stop for a picnic, explore the wigwam tents and have your face painted like a native animal!

It is also imperative you holiday with a chalet company who embrace children staying in the chalet.

We ensure the children have as much fun as the adults and equip the chalet accordingly!

Avery Crest can provide:

Slegdes, for the apres ski fun before dinner.

A Cinema or TV room stocked with the latest DVD’s – and Frozen on repeat!

The children’s favourite foods to ensure the transition from home to holiday is smooth.

Bunk RoomFor a family who likes to eat together, a tailormade menu that both children and parents will enjoy – served at a time convenient to you.

Minibus service to ensure the children can enjoy the delights of Meribel after a days skiing.

Mini dressing gowns and cuddly toys, so their new bedroom for a week really does feel like home.

Lots of fun!
