Meribel, in the heart of the Three Valleys offers some of the best skiing to be found anywhere in the Alps. With over 600km of pisted runs, the area is the biggest linked lift network in the world and is heaven for all levels of skier.
Both Avery Crest Ski chalets are ideally located to get you on the slopes as quickly as possible. Chalet Trois Ours is on the Doron piste, opposite the Adret Chairlift which takes you straight into the heart of Meribel’s ski area. It is one of the few ski-in ski-out chalets in the resort. Chalet du Vallon in Meribel Village is located 2 minutes walk from the new super-swift Golf chair lift which links you to 600km (375 miles) of piste for you to explore across the Three Valleys.
The joy of skiing in Meribel is that it is perfectly positioned to ski all of the Three Valleys easily. Drop into the Courchevel Valley either going over the Col de la Loze or skiing from Saulire into the bowl and down to 1850. With the new Saulire Express the journey time from the Chaudanne to the top of Saulire is now 12 minutes. Ski the manicured pistes of Courchevel 1850 – visit Le Cap Horn, one of the world’s most famous mountain restaurants, next to the altiport made famous in the Bond movie. Or head over to the other side towards Val Thorens and the Belleville Valley. Take in the charm of the pretty village of St Martin de Belleville and stop for lunch at the fabulous La Bouitte or make an early start and head off to the Orelle ‘fourth’ valley. In the Three Valleys the choice really is endless.
